Karen Collins

Canada Research Chair in Interactive audio, University of Waterloo

Karen Collins is Canada Research Chair in Interactive Audio at the Games Institute, University of Waterloo. She is the author or editor of five books on game audio, and has been researching various aspects of game sound since 2002. She is the director of Beep: A Documentary History of Video Game Sound. In 2015 Karen was inducted into the Royal Society of Canada for her work.
